Hi, I’m Heather

I am a Senior Physiotherapist with over fifteen years of practice in the United Kingdom and United States. I gained my Masters with Distinction in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh in 2008. Since then I have worked in large teaching hospitals and Neuro Rehabilitation settings across Scotland and in Texas and now in private practice in In-Patient and Clinic settings locally in Derby. I have followed my personal interest in Women’s Health and have specialised in Postnatal and Pelvic Floor Assessment. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

I am a busy working mum and enjoy spending my time when I’m not at work by travelling with my family, practicing yoga, running and lifting weights, at least when I get a chance!

I realise that convenient women’s healthcare is not always easily accessible. I’m a huge believer in the Mummy MOT services for all women and would love to help more women experience the benefits.

I offer a friendly, empathetic, and convenient home health service across the East Midlands for both the Mummy MOT and all other women’s health physiotherapy and general rehabilitation treatments.
